J Dorama: Sunao Ni Narenakute (Hard To Say I Love You)
So how to I give my review without spoiling it for those who haven’t seen it yet? O.o I guess I’ll just have to talk vaguely about the details of this drama. Anyway, Sunao Ni Narenakute is a Japanese drama that revolves around five people who become acquainted on the social networking site Twitter. Yes, twitter >:)
The characters who go by their usernames Haru, Nakaji, Peach, Linda and Doctor each unique and significant roles in the drama. But I can say that the major characters were Nakaji and Haru. The plot is quite unique from other dramas since it all starts through Twitter. It touches the subject of friendship, love, dreams and
gayness(lol). The actors in this drama are Eita (Nakaji), Juri Ueno (Haru), Jaejoong (Doctor), Megumi Seki (Peach) and Tetsuji Tamayama (Linda). Personally I think that it’s a good cast, apart from all of them being good-looking, they also managed to portray their characters well.It is an 11-episode drama and is fast-paced so I didn’t get bored watching it. The minor characters were also effective in meddling with the storyline. The love story was kind of weird for me. 3 out of 5 of the main characters became attracted to one person, haha. (I mean yeah Eita is very appealing >:)) Jaejoong’s character frustrated me a lot although his character was good. Tamayama’s made me sad and I thought Seki was pretty and I expected her character to be a bish but that really wasn’t the case at all. Ueno’s character is the good, confused and way too nice one but somehow in the end she manages to stand up for herself.
I love how it also shows that the characters were common and realistic. It showed that they were people who were struggling to achieve something in their lives and how they chased after it towards the end.
In the last part I thought I was going to be disappointed because of
something, luckily I wasn’t although the ending was a bit abrupt and I didn’t get to find out what happens to the love story >.< And whatever happened to Nakaji’s father and Haru’s mother? It seemed like they were put in a situation that was supposed to complicate Nakaji and Haru’s relationship but towards the end it didn’t happen and they weren’t affacted at all. My mind just goes…What was that all about? That is the negative thing about this drama. Other than that it’s all positive XDDI’d love to talk about the story and each character but that would spoil everything for those who want to see it so I won’t =.= Anyway, I do recommend this drama a lot.
